牙周疾病作为抑郁症的危险因素:一项叙述性综述

阅读:1

Abstract

Periodontitis contributes to a proinflammatory state, potentially causing immune dysregulation in the central nervous system, which can affect mood and behavior. The interplay between periodontitis and depression is complex and bidirectional, involving multiple pathophysiological mechanisms. Recent studies have shed light on the significant role of periodontal inflammation in depression's pathophysiology, emphasizing the need for further research to identify therapeutic targets. Elucidating this relationship could lead to innovative prevention and treatment strategies.
