This study found that T1 cyberbullying victimization can affect T3 cyberbullying behavior among middle school students, and T2 loneliness plays a mediating role in the impact of T1 cyberbullying victimization on T3 cyberbullying. T2 Emotional regulation strategies regulated the first half of the mediation effect. Reducing cyberbullying requires paying close attention to the psychological and behavioral changes of cyberbullying victims. The results of this study can guide for prevention of cyberbullying victims from transforming into cyberbullies.
