Abstract
During the CMA's 128th annual meeting in Winnipeg in August, 33 physicians were awarded senior membership in the association and 2 physicians and an ethicist were honoured for their outstanding contributions to medicine. Pathologist Donald Penner of Winnipeg was awarded the CMA's highest honour, the F.N.G. Starr Award. Toronto surgeon and educator Donald Wilson received the Medal of Service, and Montreal ethicist David Roy was awarded the Medal of Honour.
