Abstract
Neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) is a highly malignant tumor that originates from neuroendocrine cells, most commonly found in the gastrointestinal tract and lungs. Primary neuroendocrine carcinoma of the bladder is rare, accounting for only 1 % of malignant bladder tumors, with the majority being small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. Primary large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) of the bladder is extremely rare. This report presents a case of primary large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the bladder treated in the Department of Urology, Zhongshan People's Hospital, in February 2024.
