Abstract

Dr. White’s research focuses on the animal/environment interface with the broad goal of leveraging animal nutrition to enhance sustainability of food production systems. This work focuses at three levels: 1) basic research evaluating factors regulating rumen fermentation; 2) applied research testing strategies to enhance feed efficiency; and 3) systems-level research evaluating the wider socioeconomic impacts of livestock production and management.
