Abstract
Three risks of ocular exposure during endoscopic urological surgeries exist: splashes of body fluids and irrigation solution, laser and X-ray radiations. In order to prevent these risks and their consequences, the wear of protective glasses is recommended. The purpose of this review was to detail these three risks and provide recommendations for appropriate eye protection.
