Abstract
The standard of dental care has increased because of the digital workflow. Treatment planning derives significantly from the combination of three-dimensional (3D) printing and computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacture (CAD/CAM). This integration enables the dentist to visualize the results of the treatment before the actual procedure. With that several uses for surgical and restorative procedures, digital dentistry technology has grown to be accurate and cost-effective. In this case study aims to illustrate the benefits of 3D smile design and controlled preparation guides for the gummy smile management. In order to rectify the gummy smile and rehabilitation of missing posteriors. Treatment planning and the creation of 3D-printed guides were accomplished through the use of digital impressions, and digital smile design (DSD).
