Abstract
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is a common malignancy of the scalp, and advanced presentation is common in the Indian subcontinent. Scalp tumor excision with reconstruction remains the treatment of choice. The pectoralis major myocutaneous (PMMC) flap remains a viable option in resource-constrained set up; however, reach over the scalp or above the zygoma remains a concern. Here, we present a case of a 40-year-old female patient where a complex scalp defect was successfully reconstructed with a PMMC flap.
