Abstract
Digital twin technology plays a significant role in promoting intelligent workshops. As the core component of this technology, the reuse of multi-dimensional model information (MMI) in digital twin models has become one of the hot topics in modeling research. However, the geometric model serves as the fundamental basis for the digital twin model. During the construction process of the digital twin model, efficient integration of the geometric model and MMI face challenges. Therefore, this paper proposes a digital twin modeling method for discrete workshops based on MMI transfer. First, the MMI is organized, and its information can be transferred to imported geometric models based on geometry. Then, the MMI transfer method based on geometric module partition and feature point calibration is elaborated, ensuring that the MMI can be accurately transferred to the imported geometric model. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified through examples. The results show that the proposed method can compensate for the shortcomings of insufficient geometric model-MMI efficient correlation, improve the reuse efficiency of the model, and promote the further application of digital twin technology in industrial production.
