Abstract
The genus Mitella L. 1753 belongs to the family Saxifragaceae. Studying the chloroplast genome of Mitella is of great significance for understanding the phylogeny within the Heuchera group. This study reports the chloroplast genome of Mitella nuda, which has a total length of 155,409 bp. The chloroplast genome contains 131 genes. The phylogenetic tree indicates that Mitella is not monophyletic and exhibits clear phylogenetic relationships with Heuchera and Tiarella. This study not only enriches the genomic data for Mitella but also provides valuable data support for evolutionary studies within the Saxifragaceae family.
