Abstract
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the common bile duct (CBD) is extremely rare. A 77-year-old male patient presented with obstructive jaundice, weight loss, and abdominal pain. An endoscopic retrograde cholangiography revealed a stricture in the common hepatic duct. Biopsy and cytology specimens performed were inconclusive. A pancreaticoduodenectomy revealed a final diagnosis of DLBCL of the CBD. DLBCL of the CBD usually presents with vague symptoms. The definitive diagnosis of DLBCL-CBD can only be rendered by immunomorphological assessment and based on careful exclusion of other nodal and extranodal sites.
