Abstract
Endovascular management in patients with failed lower extremity bypasses can be beneficial; however, current treatment options remain limited. The DETOUR system (Endologix), designed for percutaneous transmural arterial bypass, has demonstrated safety and efficacy in treating severely calcified above-knee femoropopliteal occlusions. In this report, we present two cases of percutaneous intervention in patients with advanced arterial disease and popliteal artery occlusion. Informed consent was obtained from both patients for inclusion of their cases and associated images in this report.
