Abstract
As the complexity of student learning accommodations in medical education continues to grow, educators face challenges in providing equitable support while upholding academic and professional standards. This article offers a structured approach for faculty and administrators to navigate a collaborative, interactive accommodation process. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality, applying technical standards, and ensuring that all students meet essential curricular and professionalism requirements in all academic settings and involves disability services, faculty, and other stakeholders. It also underscores the necessity for consistent communication to align expectations and an interactive accommodation process to prevent misunderstandings.
