Abstract
This response addresses the comments raised in the Letter to the Editor titled 'Testing the Generalizability of DeepPlantAllergy on Challenging Allergen Prediction Scenarios.' We clarify the intended use of DeepPlantAllergy and provide additional context on the dataset construction. We conclude that, while the issue highlighted in the Letter is interesting, it pertains to a different validation objective than that of the present study.
