Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumours (IMTs) are rare and complex neoplastic lesions that are mostly composed of myofibroblastic spindle cells combined with inflammatory cells involving multiple organs with varying clinical presentations with aggressive nature and chances of recurrence and pose a significant diagnostic challenge and requires comprehensive histological evaluation to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective management strategies. We are presenting a case of IMT arising from greater omentum with involvement of transverse colon for which resection of omental tumour with transverse colon and colocolic anastomosis was performed.
