Abstract
New work from Sun and colleagues presents new insights into how the Autoimmune Regulator carries out its molecular activity to drive expression of tissue restricted self-antigens for tolerance. Here, they identify a key interaction with CBP/p300 and an internal competition for nuclear condensate formation as novel switches that control this intricate transcriptional gene regulation.
