Abstract
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) has emerged as a crucial tool in diagnosing and managing ovarian cancer, offering invaluable insights into tumor biology and guiding therapeutic decisions. The intricate histopathological landscape of ovarian cancer presents challenges in accurate diagnosis and classification. IHC offers a complementary approach, aiding in the characterization of tumor subtypes, prognostication, and prediction of treatment response. By targeting specific biomarkers, IHC enables the identification of diverse histological features and molecular alterations associated with ovarian malignancies.
