Abstract
The deeper of the oil wells, the higher structural strength of the casing head hanger is required in the petroleum and natural gas exploration engineering. The supporting ring is one of the most important components that affect the working performance of the casing head hanger system. The effect of the inclination angle of the supporting ring on the structural morphology and the mechanical behave of the supporting ring was studied basing on the analysis of the axial load that applied on the casing head hanger. And an optimization structure of the supporting ring was proposed basing the analysis of the inclination angle. The results of the mechanical behavior analysis of the supporting ring indicate that the proposed optimized supporting ring satisfy both the working condition and engineering test condition load requirement.
