Abstract

This case report describes the successful surgical resection of a massive right subclavian artery aneurysm in a 76-year-old male. Preoperative imaging revealed a 46-mm saccular aneurysm with no evidence of other aneurysms. Surgical access was facilitated via a right supraclavicular incision, which was extended with a partial upper sternotomy. After successful resection of the aneurysm, a direct end-to-end anastomosis was performed. Subclavian artery aneurysms are a relatively uncommon subtype of peripheral artery aneurysms, necessitating individualized surgical strategies based on their location.
