Abstract
Loss of sensitivity in the operated area is common after some plastic surgery procedures and promotes accidental trauma on a daily basis. Several studies showed that a loss of sensitivity is constant after an abdominoplasty. We report here the cases of three 3(rd) degree burns by contact, at the subumbilical level, with a hot water bottle soon after an abdominoplasty, responsible for significant aesthetic sequelae.
