Abstract
OBJECTIVES: This article aims to systematically evaluate the application effect of postoperative psychological nursing assessment tools for children with congenital heart disease (CHD), in order to provide empirical evidence for clinical psychological intervention. METHODS: Computer searches were conducted on PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Database, VIP Database, and China Biomedical Literature Database. A small number of postoperative patients with congenital heart disease in children were selected as the research subjects. The routine group used routine clinical nursing methods, while the experimental group used psychological nursing evaluation tools. Meta analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.4 and Stata 17.0. RESULTS: A total of 10 articles were included, involving 650 postoperative children with CHD. The meta-analysis results showed that the application of psychological nursing assessment tools can significantly reduce the anxiety and depression scores of pediatric patients, and improve the satisfaction of their families. CONCLUSIONS: The application effect of psychological nursing evaluation tools in children with CHD after surgery is significant. Standardized evaluation tools can timely identify negative emotions such as anxiety and depression in children, alleviate their psychological stress reactions, improve their treatment compliance and rehabilitation effects, and significantly increase their satisfaction with medical services and that of their families. This in turn optimizes the rational allocation and utilization efficiency of medical resources.
