Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The present study goal was to evaluate the histopathological spectrum of core needle biopsy hepatic lesions and clinico-radiological association on 38 liver biopsies. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Tissue was dehydrated with alcohol, cleaned with xylene, and then embedded in paraffin. And then the pathology sections were stained with H and E, and finally, clinical history, laboratory, and radiological findings were also performed. RESULTS: Ten (26.32%) and eight (21.05%) cases of breast cancer with hepatic metastases and hepatocellular carcinoma were properly diagnosed. CONCLUSION: Thus, liver biopsy is essential for liver disease diagnosis and treatment.
