In the title compound, C(18)H(14)N(2)O(3), the dihedral angle between the planes of the naphthalene and phenyl ring systems is 2.64â (2)°. Mol-ecules are engaged in Ï-Ï stacking (mean interplanar distance = 3.339 between naphthalene rings and 3.357â à between benzene rings )and hydrogen-bonding inter-actions.
