In the crystal structure, the methanol solvent mol-ecules are linked to the Schiff base mol-ecules through inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Mol-ecules are further linked through inter-molecular O-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.
