Significance

These results suggest that macrophage-targeted therapies can be combined with androgen deprivation therapy to treat patients with prostate cancer by limiting cholesterol bioavailability and the production of intratumoral androgens.See related commentary by Al-Janabi and Lewis, p. 5399.
