Abstract
This presentation will cover novel ingredients being currently used and analyzed for commercial incorporation into marine and freshwater fish/shrimp aquaculture feed by Skretting, the world’s number one salmon feed manufacturer. Villalón will close with a proposal for the need of encouraging a paradigm shift in how conventional seafood sales should change to facilitate mainstreaming the introduction of expensive innovative ingredients into the value chain by sharing the incremental cost across the entire value chain.
