Abstract
The study aimed to explore the challenges faced by ICU providers in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) Flowsheets and to understand their perceptions and preferences regarding EHR usability in critical care settings. The results showed that ICU providers appreciated the thoroughness and user-friendliness of the flowsheet feature, particularly its capability to present vital signs, lab results, and other essential health data on a single page, simplifying comprehensive evaluations. The study also highlighted the need for a more user-centered approach to EHR flowsheet design and implementation in critical care settings, emphasizing the importance of understanding how ICU clinicians interact with and perceive EHR flowsheets to develop targeted improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and patient care quality.
