Abstract

In a crowded environment, how do we hear a single talker while ignoring everyone else? In this issue of Neuron, Zion Golumbic et al. (2013) record from the surface of the human brain to show how speech tracking arises through multiple neural frequency channels, both within and beyond auditory cortex.
