High-efficiency and simple synthesis of Ti(3)C(2)T (x) nanoscrolls by surface energy modulation and cryogenic freezing

Abstract

To alleviate the restacking issue of 2D Ti(3)C(2)T (x) itself, we purposefully explore a simple but efficient method for controllable construction of 1D Ti(3)C(2)T (x) nanoscrolls with a high efficiency of ∼90.5%, with detailed regulation of the feed concentrations and surface energy of Ti(3)C(2)T (x) . The involved transformation mechanism from 2D nanosheets to 1D nanoscrolls is reasonably proposed.
