Abstract
This report highlights the development of an innovative and efficient metal-organic framework (MOF) synthesized through a hydrothermal reaction utilizing palladium acetate salt and DTPA as the organic ligand. Detailed analyses of the synthesized MOF were performed using techniques such as FT-IR, TGA, XRD, EDS, BET, SEM, and ICP. The resulting Pd-DTPA-MOF demonstrated exceptional efficiency and performance in C-S cross-coupling reactions under mild conditions. Additionally, this nanostructured material offers multiple benefits, including high product yields, a simple synthesis process, and environmentally friendly characteristics. Importantly, the versatile Pd-DTPA-MOF nanocatalyst can be easily recovered from the reaction mixture via centrifugation and reused for up to four consecutive cycles with only a slight decline in catalytic activity.
