Abstract
First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Shohei Yoshimoto is first author on ‘Inhibition of Alk signaling promotes the induction of human salivary-gland-derived organoids’, published in DMM. Shohei is a research scientist in the lab of Professor Shuichi Hashimoto at Fukuoka Dental College, Fukuoka, Japan, investigating salivary gland disorders.
