Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual female Tibellus oblongus (running crab spider; Arthropoda; Arachnida; Araneae; Philodromidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 3 189.47 megabases and 3 294.81 megabases. Of haplotype 1 and haplotype 2, 99.03% and 91.65% of the sequence, respectively, are scaffolded into 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including X (1) and X (2). The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 14.37 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
