Abstract
Blue Foods from aquaculture and fishing vessels are essential for global diets and economies, yet shrimp aquaculture faces mounting challenges in supply, disease, climate, and market sustainability. This review analyses global shrimp aquaculture systems, identifies key resource flows and sectoral stressors, and presents five resilience strategies. It emphasises solution-driven pathways and highlights barriers that must be addressed collaboratively to ensure sustainable and resilient shrimp supply chains.
